Top Teacher prizes are calculated using 1 point per dance, NOT per entry.
ALL entries count - including Scholarships & Multi-Dances.
Points are not reduced for Proficiency, Student-Student, or Uncontested Entries.
6, 9 & 10 Dance events count as 5 dances. Youth entries are reduced by 1/2.
All Teachers must be On Package to qualify for all Top Teacher prizes.
Entries that are credited or discounted are not eligible for Pot of Gold prize money.
Pot of Gold
Awarded to all teachers who meet the minimum dance requirements.
250+ Dances: $15 per Dance
200 - 249 Dances: $10 per Dance
125-199 Dances: $8 per Dance
50-124 Dances: $6 per Dance
Overall Top Teacher Bonus
Awarded to the top 3 teachers with the highest number of dances.
1st Place: $1,000 - Minimum 250 Dances
2nd Place: $750 - Minimum 200 Dances
3rd Place: $500 - Minimum 125 Dances
Top Female Teacher Bonus
Awarded to the top 3 female teachers with the highest number of dances. Top female teachers will receive Pot of Gold top teacher prize money but can only win prize money from either the Overall purse or the Top Female purse.
1st Place: $1,000 - Minimum 250 Dances
2nd Place: $750 - Minimum 200 Dances
3rd Place: $500 - Minimum 125 Dances

1st Place: $200 Triple Crown Entry Voucher
2nd Place: $150 Triple Crown Entry Voucher
3rd Place: $100 Triple Crown Entry Voucher
Open Pro/Am Scholarships
1st Place: $300 Cash
2nd Place: $200 Cash
3rd Place: $100 Cash
Full prize money will be awarded for scholarship events with 4 or more couples
and for any dancers entering 3 rounds of Single Dances, or more, per style.
For scholarship events with 3 couples or less, the prize money will be reduced by half for dancers
entering less than 3 rounds of Single Dances per style.
Top Students & Top Studio
All students must be On Package to qualify for Overall Top Student Awards
Trophies shall be awarded to the Top Small, Medium, & Large Studios.
